Repent
Repent is a heartfelt call to pause and consider the condition of our souls. Through reflections on sin, redemption, and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, this poem reminds us that God's invitation to salvation is still open.

Repent!
is the cry for the people,
walking in their sin,
while they wallow in their evil.
Lies float like the breeze,
fornication roams free,
degradation might be the word
for what this world's starting to be.
Man's always done what's right in his own eyes,
filtering the good for his own earthly pleasures,
but it's about time to stop and realize,
death grants no man any special favours,
and hell has no name tag for you.
So consider your soul that lives on,
after this body of dust is long gone.
Weeping and gnashing of teeth,
no water to quench your thirst.
Tormented for all eternity,
does not have to be your story -
and I'm making sure it's not mine.
We can all choose a life with Jesus,
in eternal peace and harmony.
Jesus came as a lamb to the slaughter,
He chose to die for you and for I.
Laying down His life for a fallen world ,
so we could walk in the light of salvation.
Freedom will dance, life will rejoice;
we no longer have to live in fear,
for we are in Him and He's always near.
The piercing crown, the stripes He took,
every verbal abuse, it was all for us.
He hung on a cross - shameful and bare,
every drop of blood redeeming us.
And most may wonder why?
Or say, no one asked Him to.
But Love would never watch you perish.
So choose, because the choice is yours,
but I plead with you: choose life in Jesus.
For the world may look better,
yet your soul is what matters.
For at the end of your life's journey,
there's only two paths you will have:
eternal life with God, or eternity in hell.
Repent!
